Our challenge was to create and implement the brand design and identity for the newly-established company, Empowered Financial Strategies. President Melissa Hines’ brand needed to garner confidence from her clients of more than 15 years while also engaging and attracting new clientele.
EFS provides financial planning and investment options, but puts a focus on educating clients versus merely selling them stocks and bonds and using other traditional methodology. We needed to reflect EFS’s unique approach to managing financial services while also communicating they function in the same expert field as their competitors.
Our team was methodical and took great care in this branding’s development and engineering.
We held weekly brainstorming sessions with EFS to develop concepts and establish brand colors and photography styles. We experimented and explored in order to come up with images reflecting EFS as relatable yet professional, safe yet innovative, trustworthy yet unconstrained.
We wanted to be sure the EFS logo, story, and collateral would fit within the prototype of a financial securities firm while also being fresh and modern. The final logo and branding tells a story, yet is still simple and scalable.
